Native American Indians believe that feathers are gifts from Great Spirit. Birds are regarded as the highest spirit animal on earth and feathers are used to carry prayers. The tradition is to whisper prayers, energy, needs, etc. into the prayer feather…filling the feather with your intentions. As the wind moves, the prayer feather also moves, carrying your prayers, dreams and hopes with it. It is also said that the feather reaches out to others. When one sees the feather blowing, his or her hopes and dreams are carried along with the wind.
Please join Shakti Healing Space on March 3rd 2013 in a Prayer Feather Workshop. All who attend the workshop will leave with their personalized, handmade prayer feather.
